Year Running: 2021/2022
Credit level: F6

Description

In this module students will solve a challenging interdisciplinary engineering problem motivated by industrial partners or faculty research interests. Working in interdisciplinary groups, students will select and apply appropriate project management and systems engineering tools and principles under realistic conditions. Students will be expected to apply technical knowledge and understanding from multiple engineering disciplines in an integrated way to develop the best possible solution considering a wide range of constraints and wider issues. The work will be largely self-directed and require considerable independence, initiative and creative and critical thinking and students will be expected to work outside of their current knowledge and understanding.
